Yesterday, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced a first of its kind drinking water standard to remove per-and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) from drinking water. PFAS are a group of human-made chemicals that are known to cause adverse health impacts, including cancer.
