Ranking Member Lofgren Welcomes New and Returning Members to the Committee

(WASHINGTON, DC) – Yesterday, the Democratic Caucus approved the appointments of Members to serve on the Committee on Science, Space, and Technology.

“I’m delighted to welcome our new and returning Members to the Science Committee,” said Ranking Member Zoe Lofgren (D-CA). “Each member brings invaluable experience to our committee, and I’m excited to get to work with them. My predecessor, the late Eddie Bernice Johnson, often referred to our committee as ‘the Committee of the Future.’ With science at the forefront, we have a responsibility and opportunity to support and deploy innovative solutions to build that bright future. From the depths of the ocean to the surface of Mars and beyond, we are lucky to have an exciting jurisdiction. I look forward to hitting the ground running as we recommit ourselves to advocating for federal science, tackling the climate crisis, building a diverse STEM workforce, and more.”
