Chairwoman Johnson Arrives in Florida with Science Committee Colleagues to Attend Launch of Artemis I
(Cape Canaveral, FL)—Today, Chairwoman Eddie Bernice Johnson arrived in Florida with several Science, Space, and Technology Committee Members to attend the launch of Artemis I, which is slated for Monday morning.
“As a dedicated supporter of our space exploration program, I am very delighted to be here in Florida to attend the launch of the Artemis I mission,” said Chairwoman Eddie Bernice Johnson (D-TX). “This test flight will bring us one step closer to our return to the Moon and beyond, and I want to congratulate everyone involved in the mission for getting us to this critical point. I am hopeful that the conditions will be favorable to proceed safely with the launch tomorrow morning and I wish NASA, the Artemis team, and their contractor and international partners the best of luck as they prepare for this historic day.”
